Movie Info:

Blind Waters is a survival thriller that unfolds in the far reaches of the wilderness, where a group of friends forges through extreme cold and deadly fears endurance testing as they try to survive following a plane crash into unfriendly waters. The feature, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, shows how, in the attempt to survive with their scant resources, the survivors are faced with torrential waters, vicious wildlife, and their own inner demons. As the characters come in contact with Indian waters, the scenes heat as it dawns on them that they are not alone in the water and there are bigger fishes in the pond. Topics, such as human will and struggle with nature, are also utilized in the film.

Positive Aspects:

Survivor Wireless Thriller: The film does not get boring at any point and the aura is so gripping that there is always anticipation to know what will happen next.

Scenic Views of the Movie: This film is further nourished by the splendid nature’s view which beautifies the film and intensifies the sense of loneliness and threat that gradually creeps up to the characters.

Zendaya’s Performance: In this film, Zendaya pulls off a good and commanding performance of Claire exhibiting her appreciation to Zendaya the actor.

Negative Aspects:

Cliché Element: The story brings in their own facts and sticks to the general principles of easy way outs in survival movies and hence does not bring in anything new.

Underdeveloped characters: Even though the film does a great job in building up tension, the characters left behind are never truly explored which could make some audiences disengaged from their ultimate fate.
