Cheta Singh

In Cheta Singh, a man struggles with the love for his family and the law & justice embodied by his brother named Cheta Singh. Cheta Singh’s conflicts are set in the backdrop of crime, loyalty and family drama in midst of rural India packed with extreme performances and action sequences. Cheta’s past sins haunt him and he is now faced with an egy American drug lord who has spread its roots in his native village.

Positive Aspects:

Diljit Dosanjh has given strong performance and the players own the emotional and action sequences in the right way.

The countryside actually appears to be harsh and the camera captures the surroundings well.

Good combination of aggression and emotions, with great fight choreography and strong family scenes.

Negative Aspects:

In terms of plot development, the narrative may appear unoriginal to the love birds of the action drama genre who are used to the motives of revenge and salvation.

Some parts particularly moving away from family scenes to action feel really slow.
