End Times

End Times is a spectacular action movie set in the grim future of our world. With the resources of the planet destroyed, it becomes a war zone filled with famine, chaos, violence and a complete social breakdown. The story provides focus to a handful of folks who have managed to survive the chaos and are now trying to survive the wrath of anarchy. As they strive to find a mythical haven which promises them a fresh start, they constantly have to deal with ethical issues, disloyalty and the need to stay alive.

Oscar Isaac as David, a mercenary who was once a soldier

Positive Aspects:

Stakes Included In The Action: Throughout the film, there are relentless fight sequences, which keep one on the edge.

Theme Relevance: This is the story of climate change, depletion of resources, and the end of humanity, that is all very relevant today.

Great Cast: Chris Hemsworth and Zendaya do a great job portraying and showing the struggles of their characters.

Negative Aspects:

Lack Of Shocking New Developments: In the case of fans who have already seen other movies in this genre, the post-apocalyptic plot would be in accordance with the already established standard and would tend to be monotonous.

Inconsistent Characterization: A number of the other roles do possess some depth but they are just not properly fleshed out which weakens the immunity of their arcs emotionally.
