In Favor:
Interesting issues of identity, memory and corporate globalization raise the stakes of the film making in it, and the viewers’ engagement much more complex than the basic superficial narrative.
The audience couldn’t help but feel for Oscar Isaac’s character; in ‘boss’ role, the man desperately strives to maintain tiny dots of sanity as wider and wider chaos develops around him.
The impressive visual effects materializes recognizable but at the same time alien future and strengthens the films philosophical nature.
Against:
The narrative can sometimes seem incoherent, with some disorienting turns that can easily thrown the viewer off.
Some viewers may find the ending confusing, as it does leave a number of questions unanswered.
