Hijack ’93

Hijack ‘93 is a drama action based on true events happening in 1993 where plane hijacking took place. The central plot highlights the focus when a plane gets hijacked and a few surviving passengers work together to save their lives. As the political situation worsens and the efforts for rescue becomes more or the narrator’s voice reveals more and more details interspersed with each passenger’s heroic anthropogenesis.

Positives:

The stories are extremely tense and detailed giving the real events a sense of the times.

Film is full of action in as much 30 min segments and viewers are kept at the edge of their seats.

Leads are particularly suited for their roles, Ali earned praise for being calm yet greatly emotional negotiator.

Negatives:

Few of the events including few of the subplots of the story align closely and sometimes do not add value to the film.

For those with prior exposure to such-up hijacking drama, the film may come across as boring or predictable.
