Kasap Havasi

Kasap Havası also known as Wedding Dance is a 2015 Turkish drama that is directed by Çiğdem Sezgin. The film examines the dynamics of human relationships, the role of society in those relationships and love in two people of different decades.

Synopsis

Ahmet, a taxi driver in Istanbul, is set to be engaged to a woman arranged by his mother. While this goes on, he is involved with Leyla, an elderly tailor. Problems arise in their passionate relationship when Semih, Leyla’s boyfriend from 18 years ago who belonged to Germany, threatens their relationship with Ahmet and Leyla.
