Rez Ball is a sports film based on actual events. It tells the story of a high school basketball team on a Native American reservation. This story of the underdog is very strong and emotional with lots of moments dedicated to recovery and patience. Strong Performances: Daniel is uniquely portrayed by his following actor Forrest Goodluck. He takes his character on a thorough transformation with impact. NEGATIVE ASPECTS: Predictable Plot: Inspiring as it may be, the storyline is similar to the rest underdog sports movies, making some plot twists very predictable. Underdeveloped Secondary Characters: Some of the supporting characters could have been fleshed out more as their issues and issues become background upon preference of the main plot.
